Our dedicated staff brings with them many years of extensive experience.

Mark Berger - President/CEO
With over 30 years with nonprofit organizations and formerly a PWI board member and chair, Mark was named President and CEO in February 2005. He received his Masters degree in community and organizational change from the University of Maryland and has studied in the MBA program at SDSU’s College of Business. He teaches nonprofit  board management at  Nonprofit Management Solutions.

C.E. Skip Covell - Chief Financial Officer
Skip joined PWI in August 2010 as Chief Financial Officer. He has served as CFO and later CEO of the Arc of San Diego as well as CEO of the Arc of Bakersfield. His distinguished career began as a volunteer assisting youngsters with developmental disabilities. He is a graduate of San Diego State University with a degree in Accounting.
