United Way / Workplace Giving

Your support makes a big difference At PWI!  Writing the following codes on your United Way pledge form will ensure that PWI receives your contribution directly.

PWI is certified by the United Way in the following regions:

• San Diego County – UW code 6430
• Lake Arrowhead – UW code 30138
• The Inland Valley – simply write “PWI”

To contribute to PWI through the United Way/CHAD please ask your human resources department if your company participates in the Workplace Giving Campaign.  It is a simple way to make an ongoing donation through a simple payroll check deduction.  We would also be happy to send a speaker to your company to share a message from PWI and the United Way.

The annual effort by the United Way and its campaign partner, Combined Health Agencies (CHAD), as well as the Combined Federal Campaign for federal government employees, is an efficient way to help.  Funds raised by United Way/CHAD will support a number of PWI services, including job training, placement, education, counseling, and special programs for people with disabilities and their families.

The overall United Way/CHAD campaign allows its member agencies to help more than a million residents, or one in every three individuals, each year, and is a valued partner in helping to create safe, healthy and productive communities throughout the region.
