Your Input Counts
As a provider of high quality services, PWI staff members fill many roles: supporter, advocate, facilitator, teacher, and more. Our environment and all services are designed and developed in response to the needs and expectations of the persons we serve.
Your involvement in the delivery of your services is extremely important. As a PWI participant, you are in the best position to define your own needs. Sharing your input helps PWI to continually improve services.
PWI continues its commitment to provide avenues through which your input can be received, to obtain input on regularly, and to report results to stakeholders.
How PWI seeks your input and guidance
- Human Rights Committees
- Consumer council meetings are held regularly
- Our doors are always open. If you have a concern or a compliment, come on in!
- Individual satisfaction surveys are conducted regularly
- The suggestion box can be accessed anonymously at any time
- Results of surveys are reported in PWI's outcomes report
- Job seeking and job retention classes provide a great way to share input
- Involvement with the board of directors. If you want more information, just ask

How to provide input
The following are examples of important questions that you are encouraged to consider throughout your services. You do not have to wait to be asked these questions in a survey. Please share your thoughts with your IDT and your PWI team always.
- "Do I like my job?"
- "Do I have the opportunity to tell staff how I feel about my services?"
- "Do I have input on selecting the staff who provide my services?"
- "Are my services, goals, and objectives modified as necessary?"
- "Who guides my personal plan?"
- "Where do I want to work in the future?"
- "Why did I choose to participate with PWI?"
- "Am I satisfied with my services with PWI?"
Answer all questions very openly and honestly at all times. Please let us know how we are serving you. If changes need to be made in your services, remember that we are here to work with you to design the best plan for you.
