Employment Training Specialist II

Qualifications:
* Maintain reliable transportation and necessary insurance.
* High School Diploma or equivalent required.
* Obtain and maintain CPR 1st Aid certifications.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Independent and self-directed. Collaborative teamwork style.
* Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
* Ability to remain flexible with all job duties.
* Professional manner, positive attitude and appropriate attire per dress code.

Responsibilities:
* Transport clients and other business needs as assigned.
* Other service support as assigned (i.e., substitute job coaching, etc.).
* Willingness to express training needs with respect to any facet of job requirements.
* Develop and implement individualized training and support strategies for clients.
* Follow all PWI policies and procedures.
* Notify supervisor of all PWI related concerns immediately.
* Provide on-going client vocational support, counseling, and training.
* Database management of caseload.
* Recordkeeping and ongoing documentation (i.e., payroll, casenotes, etc).
* Facilitate Individual Habilitation Service Plan (IHSP) meetings as needed.
* Assist clients in the creation and implementation of IHSP goals and objectives.
* Implement behavior modification in collaboration with supervisor and Interdisciplinary Team (IDT).
* Initiate and maintain positive relationships with clients, employers, co-workers, and IDT.
* Relay all employer concerns to supervisor immediately.
* Obtain pre-approval for overtime and nonbillable time in excess of standard allotted hours.
* Attend all scheduled trainings and meetings.
* Ensure clients understand and abide by PWI safety policies and procedures.
* Maintain confidentiality of all PWI related information.
* Compliance with Department of Rehabilitation, Regional Center, DOL, CARF and other applicable regulations.
* Provide exceptional internal and external customer service.
* Considerable paperwork is necessary and important. Timely and quality submission of paperwork is essential.
* Understand and abide by PWI safety policies and procedures.
* Provide services consistent with organizational values and mission.
* Other duties as assigned.
